Easter came a little too early in the morning for Dad. Lincoln was out in the backyard at 6:45 looking for all the little goodies the Easter Bunny had left. He then woke up Noelle and Henrik and they all attempted to wake up Dad so the festivities could begin. Dad was not amused with the Three-Child Alarm Clock that was purchased on-sale at CVS.
Before the kids went on the Easter Egg hunt Mom and Dad, being the great parents that they are, sat down and had a "True Meaning of Easter" lesson with the kids. The children, undeterred by the Doctrines of Salvation, couldn't get their minds off the glories of candy. Thus we proceeded to the fun.I tried to get a picture of Henrik searching for the eggs but he was so fast I couldn't focus the camera quick enough. And, yes, Halloween Bags can double as Easter Egg Baskets.
Who knew!

I'm impressed you guys had the patience to do a lesson. Roger was barely able to keep me still as he gave the Easter devotional. I couldn't stop thinking about candy either.
Yeah, I'm not sure how Easter went from the Atonement to Candy - but there is never a bad time for candy in our house.
